Juliet Mecur reports for the New York Times, "All six members of the Chinese women’s gymnastics team at the Beijing Games met the age requirements to compete at those Olympics, officials from the International Gymnastics Federation said on Wednesday after a month-long investigation of possible age falsification by the team."
WTF? Half of the pre-teens on that team had bodies that haven't even thought about sproutin' boobies yet. Hell, one of those little girls was so small she could walk under the balance beam. I guess as an humanitarian (ahem) I should embrace this ruse, if not for the Olympics these little girls might just be glueing the pieces together on the memory card I use in my digital camera.
