Justin Timberlake - GQ's Most Stylish Man

From Reuters: Grammy-winning pop singer Justin Timberlake has topped GQ magazine's list of the "10 most Stylish Men in America," and gives his banker stepfather the credit for his dress sense.

The men's magazine praised Timberlake, 28, for his impact on fashion, his willingness to take risks and "knack for targeting trends" including hats, three-piece suits, skinny ties and beards.

The timing of the award is good news for Timberlake. William Rast, the clothing line he and friend Trace Ayala launched in October 2006, is on the runway at this week's New York Fashion show for its second outing.

Timberlake said in the March issue of GQ that he got his sense of style from his stepfather, Paul Harless, a banker who laid out his suit for the next morning every night and went to work looking "like Richard Gere in (American) Gigolo."

On this date in 2004 Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake had a 'wardrobe malfunction' during the 35th Super Bowl's haf-time show and exposed her breast. Not only did this 'blink and you missed it moment' create a firestorm of controversary but it seems to have led to a long stream of grandpa rock stars in the half-time show - last year Tom Petty, this year Bruce Springsteen.

From Wikipedia: Among several other acts, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake performed a medley of Jackson's songs All for You and Rhythm Nation and Timberlake's song Rock Your Body during the halftime show. The performance featured many suggestive dance moves by both singers, and as Timberlake reached his final line of Rock Your Body, "I'm gonna have you naked by the end of this song," Timberlake pulled off a part of Jackson's costume, revealing her right breast, clearly covered by a nipple shield, for nine-sixteenths of a second. In the immediate aftermath of the incident, the CBS broadcast cut to an aerial view of the stadium but was unable to do so before the picture was sent to millions of viewers' televisions.
